Mike Mooneyham (writer of The Post) has commented that JBL was not good forms of the WWE. It seems that there was no agreement on how to leave, and the future. Furthermore, it is said that JBL's wife, did not attend Wrestlemania bout, which could indicate that the relations of JBL and WWE were not the best.
Anyway, it seems that this is not entirely true, since the WWE provided that JBL was the winner of the Triple Crown and Gram Slam (4 major titles) before its withdrawal.
Surely, the official version, not known or by the WWE, or by JBL, so everything will be rumors.
